Brief summary of work: Following the recent findings of increased risks of dying from diseases of the brain in Scottish and French studies of former professional footballers, this study follows a sample of former professional footballers in England and Wales. The study will further understanding of whether heading in former professional footballers increases the risk of mortality from neurological diseases.
