Asbestos Sample Testing
We offer specialist analytical services for all types of asbestos bulk samples, including identification and quantification of asbestos in soils and aggregates.
We also offer optical fibre counting, and for samples where the differentiation of asbestos from other fibre types is important, we provide analysis by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
What is Asbestos Sample Testing?
Asbestos sample testing is carried out to determine whether asbestos is present in suspected materials. This is done by analysing single or bulk samples for asbestos fibres. If asbestos is detected, the testing will also identify which type of asbestos has been found.
Our extensive experience and expertise enables us to successfully tailor analytical investigations in order to solve clients’ unique problems. In addition, we provide premium same day or next day services where appropriate. Our clients include, but are not limited to the following:
- Local authorities
- UK environment agencies
- Consultancies
- Universities
- Manufacturing businesses
- Utilities
- Retail and Commercial properties
- Construction sector
Our service includes advice on sampling regimes and the interpretation of results. Moreover, we can undertake sampling on clients’ premises if required.
How our experts can help:
- Offer specialist analyses for all types of asbestos
- Offer optical fibre counting
