Pneumoconiosis Field Research: Environmental conditions at South Kirkby Colliery 1980/81: Compositional results

This addendum lists the results of the analyses of the airborne dust samples taken at South Kirkby Colliery 1980/81 which were not available in time for the Technical Memorandum TM/82/18,The ash and quartz concentrations have risen in line with the respirable dust concentration when compared with 1979/80, to 2.44 mg/m3 of ash and 0.40 mg/m3 of quartz. The amounts of kaolin, mica and calcium, magnesium and iron carbonates are similar to those reported in 1979/80.
