Smoking and disability in miners. (Letter)
In his letter (1980; 244:2158) W. K. C. Morgan, MD, quotes from an editorial1 that claimed that “Jacobsen has shown that smoking is the main cause of symptoms and disability in miners without massive lesions.” I have explained elsewhere2 why I disagree with that statement.
