An ergonomic assessment of the control room and its operations at Brodsworth Colliery
This report describes the existing control room at Brodsworth in terms of its environment, the positioning of control consoles, workspace layout and the tasks of operators. These various aspects are discussed with reference to ergonomic principles, and recommendations are made.
