IOM environment management accreditation is reissued

The accreditation aligns with IOMs socially responsible goals which are to advance health and wellbeing. IOM’s employee-run Environment Group have interwoven the environmental management system into our everyday business strategy.

IOM’s environmental footprint has seen reductions in:
–                      Electricity: reduced consumption by 15%
–                      Fleet: reduced fleet emissions by 8%
–                      Domestic Air Travel: reduced travel by 5%
–                      Paper Usage: reduced usage by 5%

Jeremy Gillis, IOM’s Financial Controller and Environment Group leader says “Re-accreditation is a significant achievement for the company. The environmental management system we have in place demonstrates; our legal compliance, sustainable commitment to stakeholders and in parallel, it is a framework that our employees have been enthusiastic to govern, adopt and engage with.’
