Environmental risk factors contribute to approximately 12.6 million deaths worldwide each year, according to the World Health Organisation. Factors such as air quality, lighting, temperature, and noise levels can lead to work-related illnesses and injuries. Health and safety managers stress the need to identify potential environmental hazards and reduce risks to employees’ health.
